IPL TECHNOLOGY
Intense pulsed light systems release precisely controlled strong pulses of filtered light that stimulate the fibroblast cells within the skin that produce collagen and elastin. This improves the irradiancy and tightness of the skin, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, controlling enlarged pores and giving a more uniform complexion.
RF TECHNOLOGY
RF produces heat when the tissue’s electrical resistance converts the electrical current to thermal energy deeper within the dermis. The RF device disperses the energy evenly to the 3 Dimensional volumes of tissue at controllable depths. Initially collagen denaturation within these thermally modified deep tissues is thought to be the mechanism for immediate tissue contraction; subsequent neocollagenesis then further tightens the dermal tissue and reduces wrinkles. Light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood when the treating vascular lesions or melanin when treating pigmented lesions damaging them.
